Are your doctors board certified?
A: Yes, all of our doctors are board certified. Five of our doctors are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and one is a board certified gynecologist.

What happens during my initial consultation?
A: The pre-operative consultation is an important part of cosmetic surgery, since it sets the tone
for everything that follows. Upon meeting your doctor, you will be able to discuss the problems that you feel need correction.
You will learn which surgical procedures are indicated as well as what the limitations are for each surgery. This is your
opportunity to ask about anything that concerns you.
Your doctor will perform a thorough examination
and state what can and should be done. At this time, it's critical
to inform him of any past or present illnesses or complications,
previous operations, medications, allergies, and so forth.
This information will allow your doctor to determine any special
needs and/or precautions that will need to be made.

How much does plastic surgery cost?
A: The cost of cosmetic
surgery can vary considerably, and depends on the type and
length of the procedure (s). These fees also include the surgeon's
fees, operating room, doctor assistant fees, anesthesia and
follow-up appointments.
All fees for cosmetic surgery must be paid prior to surgery.

What can I expect my recovery time to be?
A: Recovery time varies
with each person and will largely depend on the type of procedure(s)
being performed and to what degree. During your consultation,
your doctor will provide you with this information as well as
activity restrictions, recommended time to take off before going
back to work and answer any other questions you may have about
your post-surgical recovery.

Will my health insurance cover any of my procedures?
A: Your insurance company will not cover
any cosmetic surgery fees or services it does not consider
medically necessary. However, there are some reconstructive
surgeries that can be covered by your health insurance plan.
If your plastic surgeon determines that your need is medically
necessary during your consultation, we will work closely with
your insurance plan to provide medical documentation and obtain
authorization for surgical services. Once surgical authorization
is obtained from your insurance company, the reconstructive
surgery can then be scheduled.
