Types of Testing:
Our certified sleep technicians use state of the art equipment to test for:
- Polysomnography
- Continous Positive Airway Pressure
- Polysomnography with CPAP Titration
- Multiple sleep latency test
- Nocturnal pulse Oxymetry
Results:
Studies are performed and scored by highly trained and certified sleep technicians. The data is then thoroughly evaluated and interpreted by our board certified sleep physician. Reports are individually typed up by our physician with clear easy to understand results and recommendations for further treatment.
Treatment:
Treatment varies based on the nature of the sleeping disorder. For obstructive breathing during sleep, options range from CPAP therapy to dental device, even surgery. For less severe disorders, a simple lifestyle change may result in a better nights sleep. The right treatment will significantly improve a patients quality of life.

Sleep Disorder:
The importance of diagnosing and treating sleep disorders is becoming more evident as the field of sleep medicine progress. It is now clear that slepp disorders, in general, comprise some of the most common medical conditions faced today, yet until recently, these problems have gone unnoticed. Obstructive sleep apnea:
This is the most well publicized sleep disorder and accounts for 75% of patient referrals to sleep specialists. This disorder occurs when the upper airway periodically narrows and obstructs airflow (one's breathing). This can lead to periodic arousals from sleep, sometimes 100 times per hour! People suffering from this disorder may exhibit snoring, nocturnal gasping, dry mouth and daytime sleepiness. In addition to the poor quality of life due to chronic sleep deprivation, serious, even life threatening, cardiac and neurologic conditional can occur, if left untreated.
