Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose to help improve
a patient's facial balance, profile and overall appearance. At GIAA,
our surgeons perform both cosmetic and nasal breathing surgery,
and keep a natural, unoperated look.
General Recovery Information: During the first
few days after rhinoplasty, your nose will probably ache and you'll
feel like you have a head cold. Pain medication is prescribed to
help ease the discomfort. Your face will feel swollen, and some
patients experience headaches. Black eyes are not unusual either,
but most of these issues subside by the 2-week mark. Most patients
are happy with their new nose around this time, however, final results
take 6 months, as any traces of swelling go away and the body is
fully healed.
