The Buttock Fat Transfer is a surgical procedure
wherein fat is extracted from other parts of the body, processed
and used to build out the buttock area. This creates beautiful,
shapely contours, and patients who complain about having a flat
rear end really love this procedure.
According to many surgeons, fat grafting to the buttocks has less
risk than buttock implants.
General Recovery Information: There is minimal
downtime and discomfort with the procedure, however, an oral pain
medication is still usually prescribed. Patients are up and around
the day of surgery; however, strenuous activities should be avoided
for at least one month. Your doctor will tell you when it is ok
to resume exercise, however, many patients return to work within
a week or so after surgery.
